The federal government will reimburse you 50% of the costs. This applies to the costs that you have paid yourself.

You will receive a maximum of CHF 9,500 back. Example: You have paid a total of CHF 19,000 for the course and will receive CHF 9,500 back.

The part of the course that directly serves to prepare for the federal examination (including teaching materials provided by the course provider) is considered creditable. There is no entitlement to a subsidy for fees for meals, travel, accommodation and the diploma ceremony. In the case of modular examinations, fees for module examinations can be offset if they are included in the course price.

The federal government pays the money directly to the graduates (i.e. to you) (subject funding). Eligibility for a federal contribution is subject to the following conditions:

• The course must be on the list of preparatory courses at SERI (➜ www.sbfi.admin.ch/bundesbeitraege).
• You pay the course fees yourself. The invoices and payment confirmations from the course provider must be in your name.
• You must take the final examination. The entitlement exists even if you do not pass the exam.
• Once you have completed your training with us, we will send you confirmation by e-mail.
• You must be resident in Switzerland for tax purposes at the time of the audit.
